Most Annoying end to the Year…

Monday, December 22nd, 2008

After such a cool year in Osholand it seems only right and fitting to bow out of 2008 with another installment of the BBC3 show we love to hate, Most Annoying People. I’ve thrown my tuppence worth in again and its shaping up to be another hilarious medley of annoyance and vitriol. Don’t worry if you miss it, like a new series of Big Brother, there’ll be another one along before you know it.

And finally, to all who’ve supported me through this most interesting of years, an enormous thank you, a Merry Christmas to those just passing by and Happy New Year, joy and prosperity to all!

May 2009 bring you everything your heart desires!

Amnesty International do it again

Thursday, October 30th, 2008

I was very proud to be invited to perform for Annesty International this weekend at their Stand Up For Comedy Event in Belfast.

Hosted by the excellent John Bishop, the show featured Daniel Rigby, Mike Wozniak, Katherine Ryan and was headlined by the fabulous Damian Clark. Idid a brief interview after for the organisations website and I was embarrassed to find I didn’t know a single human right. Amnesty serve to protect our rights as humans and raise awareness where those rights are being abused or ignored and I couldn’t think of one. Don’t be like me! http://www.amnesty.org.uk/

Best Newcomer Nomination - BECA

Wednesday, October 8th, 2008

I’m very excited to have been nominated in the Best Newcomer catagory of the Black Entertainment Comedy Awards (BECA).

This event is now in its eighth successful year and is shaping up to be very exciting. In previous years they have honoured industry stalwarts such as Joseph Marcell and Lenny Henry as well as given a nod to the newcomer and this year will be no exception.

The awards night takes place on 16th November at The Camden Centre, London, WC1 and you can vote online for your favourite newcomer (whoever that may be…).

Love, Andi
